Our platform's carefully designed administrative area will offer managers a user-friendly and comprehensive set of tools for managing users, monitoring sales performance, and conducting in-depth analysis. This streamlined approach empowers managers to make data-driven decisions, optimize sales processes, and drive business growth.
Study of the old system
As the existing admin area was already in place, the initial step of the project was to thoroughly understand its functionality, aiming to:

Analyze the navigation flow of the managers within the current admin area and strategize on how to simplify and optimize their workflow.
Explore opportunities to add new features or functionalities that would provide added value and better support the needs of the managers.
Identify elements that could be removed to enhance the platform's simplicity and streamline the user experience.
Personas
Following an in-depth examination of the system, we engaged in user interviews and conducted an internal study to gain valuable insights for crafting the primary personas impacted by the platform.
Antônio, the company manager
Introducing Antônio, an experienced insurance broker with 8+ years of expertise. A 32-year-old father of two, he holds a degree in accounting and a postgraduate qualification in team management. Committed, attentive, and driven by personal growth.
Work Approach: Antônio currently leads a team of 5 consultants actively engaged on the Connections platform. He takes pride in motivating his team and staying up-to-date with all activities, especially those impacting performance. Although he works from the office, he supports his team's autonomy, allowing flexible work arrangements.
Current Frustrations: Antônio faces frustrations due to complex charts and limited strategic data, complicating his daily tasks and leaving him feeling overwhelmed within the platform.
Needs and Expectations: Antônio seeks a simple, cohesive platform with user-friendly navigation. Quick access to performance data is crucial for effective team communication. Moreover, he values mobile-friendly responsiveness to ensure seamless use, prioritizing speed and efficiency.

Josefina, zipia's analyst
Meet Josefina, a driven 22-year-old who recently graduated in administration and has a passion for customer support and success. Diligent, detail-oriented, and always ready to assist, she brings a positive and cheerful attitude to her work.
How Josefina Works: As part of her daily responsibilities, Josefina handles customer inquiries and proactively anticipates potential issues. To stay on top of things, she keeps the administrative area open on her screen, managing broker availability, and resolving any balance or navigation problems. Working remotely, she ensures seamless communication with the team.
Current Frustrations: At times, Josefina faces frustration as she navigates through the system. She finds the data presentation somewhat perplexing and struggles to extract the relevant information required to assist her clients effectively.
Needs and Expectations: Josefina needs a more comprehensive system that allows her to have an overarching view of multiple companies simultaneously, saving her valuable time. She aims to communicate with managers more assertively, accessing critical information swiftly and with unwavering confidence in the data.
By addressing Josefina's concerns and requirements, the platform can undergo improvement to provide her with an even more user-friendly and trustworthy experience.

With the system issues identified, personas defined, and proposed solutions for improvement, the prototyping process has been initiated.
